Sicilian Solstice Tea

a blood-orange herbal from the Sicilian coast

★★★★★ Reviews verified
$16.99 USD · 4 oz · 110g

The blood orange is a culinary favorite, with its deep vibrant color and sweet, tangy flavor. A perfect ingredient for a refreshing herbal blend! This naturally sweet, caffeine-free tea pairs blood orange peels with hibiscus flowers and rose hips. Rich, hearty and tangy, with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

Inspired by the jewel-toned markets of Palermo and the coastal winds of Taormina, Sicilian Solstice invites you to slow down, sip deep, and taste summer—any time of year.

Blood orange harvest comes once a year — we source at peak season, blend in small batches, and can't restock until the next crop comes in.

A perfect gift for the sun-chaser who's always dreaming of the Mediterranean, whether or not they've made it to Sicily yet.

I fell for blood oranges in a Palermo market. Drink this one somewhere warm if you can.

From the dispatch

At the Taormina market, they sell blood oranges by the crate…

The color alone is enough to stop you — a deep ruby that fills the cup like summer made liquid. Sicilian blood orange tastes like two things at once: sweet and tart, candied and fresh. I drank this on the ferry between Messina and Reggio, the sun so bright it hurt to look at the water. Caffeine-free. Steep it long and let the color do its work. — Lior, on the Strait of Messina
